When this tool is useful
Rotation updates the PDF pages, rather than merely rotating the preview on your screen. This version applies the same rotation to every page. If only one page is sideways, you may prefer to extract that page, correct it, and merge it back with the rest of the document.
Frequently asked questions
Will text quality be reduced?
Rotation normally changes page orientation metadata without rasterising the page.
Can I rotate only page five?
Not in this starter version. It rotates the entire document.
Processing depends on your device and browser memory. Very large documents may take longer or fail.
Helpful tips and related tools
Choose a quarter turn for a page scanned sideways or a half turn for a page scanned upside down. Rotation changes how the page is displayed; it does not straighten skewed handwriting or deskew scanned images.
Correct scanned documents before sharing
Pages can arrive sideways after scanning receipts, photographing forms or combining files from different sources. Select a rotation that makes the text read correctly, and confirm whether your entire document needs the same correction. This version rotates every page by the selected angle.
Rotation changes how pages are viewed, but it does not run OCR, correct skewed photographs or repair low-resolution scans. If text remains difficult to read, consider rescanning at a suitable resolution. Verify that any signatures and page edges remain visible after export.
