Merge PDF Files Online

Combine several PDF files into one ordered document, entirely in your browser.

Files are processed in your browser. No PDF contents are sent to this website by the tool.

How to merge pdf files online

  1. Select two or more PDFs from your device.
  2. Check that you selected the files in the order you want.
  3. Click Merge PDF and download the combined file.

When this tool is useful

Merging is useful when a project includes separate cover pages, contracts, and supporting documents. Decide the sequence before starting: this starter follows the order provided by your file picker. Review the final document before sharing it, especially when page numbers or internal references are important.

Before sharing: Open the output and verify page order, text, images and formatting. This is a straightforward utility, not a replacement for professional document review.

Frequently asked questions

Will merging change the original files?

No. Your original files remain untouched. The tool creates a separate download.

Does it work with encrypted PDFs?

Password-protected and some malformed PDFs may not load. Unlock documents you have permission to edit before using the tool.

Processing depends on your device and browser memory. Very large documents may take longer or fail.

Helpful tips and related tools

Combining a cover sheet, report and appendices is easier when you select the files in reading order. This tool preserves the pages within each original PDF; open the merged result to check any cross-document page references.

Combine documents for a single submission

If an application asks for one file, you can combine the cover letter, supporting evidence and signed forms into a single PDF. Rename the original files with a numbered prefix first, such as 01-cover.pdf and 02-attachments.pdf, so they are easier to select in order. The finished document keeps pages from each source PDF together.

After downloading, check page orientation, section breaks and whether any forms or interactive elements still work as expected. Merging does not automatically harmonise page sizes or renumber page references inside the documents.
