Document Editing Disclaimer
Always check the document you download against the original, especially for legal, financial, academic, official or confidential material.
PDF editing does not mean source-text replacement
PDF files are containers for fonts, vector drawing commands, images and layout instructions. Docvelio's Edit PDF tool can add annotations, text overlays, drawings, highlights and visual cover-ups. Covering text with a white rectangle does not securely remove underlying content; hidden text may remain extractable.
DOCX compatibility varies
The Word editor imports ordinary DOCX content for browser editing and creates a fresh DOCX on export. Section breaks, precise spacing, complex tables, equations, tracked changes, field codes and embedded objects may be simplified or lost. Always keep a backup.
Privacy and security
Current document operations run primarily in the browser, but the hosting platform and external script CDNs receive network requests. Do not assume that a file is secure merely because a website says “private”. For highly sensitive or regulated documents, consider carefully audited software in a trusted environment.
Not professional advice
Guides on this website are educational explanations of document workflows. They are not legal, financial, medical or information-security advice. If you need a legally admissible signature, secure redaction or compliance-certified processing, use a specialised service appropriate to your requirements.
